Washer provides extra protection and support to the skin surrounding the stoma without sacrificing comfort. Naturally extracted from citrus peels, Cymed washers are specially formulated pectin-based hydrocolloid. Washers can provide some absorption and longer wear time for wounds, as well as providing some minor convexity for recessed stomas.
